Chimacum Ridge Community Forest

Chimacum Ridge Community Forest is 853 acres of forest in East Jefferson County, Washington. Jefferson Land Trust has managed and helped to protect the property since 2010.

The Land Trust is currently working with the community to raise funds to acquire Chimacum Ridge and transform it into a Community Forest starting in 2024 to provide public access and ecological, social, and economic benefits to the region forever.

Once purchased, Chimacum Ridge Community Forest will provide renewable resources that are made available to local nonprofit & entrepreneurial endeavors and traditional cultural & economic activities, including food & tree harvests by local tribes.

The Chimacum Ridge Community Forest supplied Douglas-fir logs for the lattice used in the PDX Airport Remodel.
